Hi there, human. Allow me to introduce me and my pal Max. I'm a toy poodle and he's a Spoodle, but we get along great. He's the CEO of IdPet and I'm an Insta-famous pup who loves making people smile. We catch up regularly over puppacinos but know that it's not always easy to find cafes that accept dogs. That's why we decided to sniff out the best in Australia, just for you.

We probably should have been born in Paris. We’d fit right in; perched on a chair on the sidewalk, watching men walk by with baguettes tucked under their arms and cigarettes hanging from the corner of their mouths. We’d wear matching berets and warm our paws on puppacinos – hold the sugar – in the cooler months. Unfortunately it’s not as easy to dine out with humans here in Australia, but there are some cafes and pubs that welcome furry friends. Generally the rule is that we can sit in the courtyard if there is direct access, but there are a few places that allow us inside, too. Oscars Law ID Tag Fundraiser campaign

July 9^th, marks the official anniversary of Oscar’s ‘Gotcha Day’. 

It has been 4 years to the day that Oscar was rescued from a deplorable, inhumane puppy farm by founder of Oscars Law, Debra Tranter.

To mark the occasion, IdPet is joining forces with Oscar’s Law to help fight unethical puppy farming and highlight the importance of having up to date identification tags for your pets.

Today I was part of the RSPCA Million Paws Walk held at Albert Park Melbourne. I woke up feeling pumped and I know I could do this 5km walk as mum has been training me for several weeks now.I arrived and met so many dogs in all shapes and sizes. All so well behaved and friendly!

Sunday 17th of May 2015 marked the pugnuptuals of Jasper and Jasmine Rowe who tied the knot at The West Beach Bathers Pavillion. The event was a merry celebration of puggy love and a gorgeous fundraiser for the much deserving Pug Rescue Victoria organisation.

Top pet names of 2014

Guess what name has woofed it to second place in the top ten dog names of 2014....? That's right - Max!

Naming the four legged and furry members of the family can be a pretty big decision for our human mums and dads.

So we're revealing to the top pet names of 2014 as listed by BowWowMeow to inspire all the pet parents out there.

Let's start with the ladies. Bella hit the top spot for the most popular dog and cat name in 2014.

Ruby, Molly and Lucy were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th most popular dog names for girls with Molly stealing second place in the most popular girl cat names.

Other female dog names included in the top ten list are Coco, Roxy, Millie and Poppy and the female felines have the popular names of Lily, Missy, Misty and Milo.

To the dogs.... well Max is, of course, one of the more popular dog names, only woofed up by Charlie.

Some other favourites for boy dogs that feature in the top ten are Buddy, Oscar, Jack, Archie and Harry.

For the tom cats of the bunch, Max took the top spot, followed by Charlie, Oscar, Simba and Tiger. George also snuck in there at number ten.
